NERIC will launch operations in Q3 2025 with a state-of-the-art 55,000 m² facility capable of producing up to 150 rolling stock units per year per shift, including electric multiple units and passenger cars. Designed for efficiency and innovation, the plant integrates modern manufacturing, assembly, and testing capabilities to meet global standards.

With a 70% localization target, NERIC strengthens Egypt’s industrial base, nurtures local suppliers, and positions the country as a premier rolling stock manufacturing hub for the MENA and African markets. Strategically located on 300,000 m² in the East Port Said Industrial Zone, just 3 km from East Port Said Port, NERIC is perfectly placed to serve regional and international demand.
